WACO, Texas—On Saturday, Oct. 13, MOROSO Wood Fired Pizzeria will be hosting an event, Pups on the Patio, to benefit local non-profit Fuzzy Friends Rescue. MOROSO is proud to support and work with this wonderful organization that provides love and much needed care.
Fuzzy Friends Rescue is a No-Kill facility and has saved more than 16,000 animals. Every year, over 800 animals receive daily care, food, necessary vaccinations, heartworm testing and medicine in a clean and safe environment. Fuzzy Friends Rescue also helps women and families fleeing domestic violence by providing temporary foster care for their pets.
On Saturday, from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m., MOROSO patrons are invited to bring their leashed dogs for fun on the patio. There will be games, caricatures and organic treats for our fuzzy friends. Most importantly, Fuzzy Friends Rescue will bring adoptable dogs that need a forever home. A portion of proceeds from this Saturday’s brunch service will be donated to Fuzzy Friends Rescue.
